Rescue Dentist - Dr. Dennis Shepherd

I visited Dennis in 2016 after making my mind up to have Implant Surgery. Dennis guided me through the procedures, which involved bone grafting. implants, and bridging. I did disliked going to dentists after many years of bad experiences. Dennis took time to explain the questions I asked of him, I felt very comfortable, relaxed and confident of the choice I made. It is Now 2017 Dennis has completed my treatment and I have beautiful complete teeth that I haven't seen since I was 17 years of age. I so appreciate now being able to enjoy a steak meal!!.
I have totally recommend Dennis to family and friends.

In 2016 I lost a front tooth which was repaired with a bridge and I thought that would be the end of my treatment and I could go back to normal dental visits and treatment.
However after a rather shocking report from an ACC assessor I discovered that not only the bridge but all of my teeth were compromised and very unhealthy. I had no idea that my mouth was in such a state.
I was referred to Dr Dennis to see how bad it was and consequently spent a long period of treatment to try and rescue my mouth and it worked !!!
I am very happy and grateful to Dr Dennis and his lovely team for all their care. Everything was explained and I was totally involved in all the decision making as I was fully informed.
After many visits (sometimes squeezing me in at short notice) I now have a healthier mouth than I've had for many years and I've got my smile back.

I hightly recommend Dr. Shepard. I'm an American visiting NZ. I have a bridge where part of the porcelain on one tooth broke off. Dentists in France and the U.K. attempted repairs. One lasted a week and the other was ok at 40 days but both repairs were deemed temporary. I searched for a Prostodontist. The clinic is equal to or better equipped than most U.S. dental offices. Although there is no guarantee with crown/bridge repair I am confident his repair will last and the methods used in the repair are not even close to what the other "regular" dentists tried. The repair took about 45 minutes and the cost was amazingly reasonable; about $150.00. If it holds, much cheaper and quicker than getting a new bridge. I've had a lot of dental work in my life in multiple countries; I would rate this clinic number 1.

I began my treatment of Implant Surgery with Dr.Dennis Shepherd two years ago. The process required a few surgical procedures and each stage was completed with advice, care and total professionalism. My treatment plan was fully quoted and no extra costs were discovered throughout the two year process.
I have always been scared of the dentist. This was the biggest dental treatment I have ever undertaken and Dr. Sheppherd was gentle, kind, explanatory throughout and had my needs at the forefront. Smiling has never felt this good! I would certainly recommend Dr. Dennis Shepperd and his team to friends and family. I had the four upper crowns/caps of my front upper teeth done and the result is remarkable. The discomfort I had before is gone and maintenance is much easier now. No more sensitive teeth.
