Owner is a great character. He describes himself as tall and good looking. Food was really good. Eclectic atmosphere. Lots of fun.

This is an iconic restaurant and is at its best when the owner Sid is working or on site. So is a must visit when in Matamata as Sid provides a great atmosphere. The decor is interesting. Love the coffin in the corner of the bar. Food menu is always changing.

This is a very friendly restaurant with efficient staff and excellent food. The owner makes a point of chatting to everyone and making them feel welcome. The menu is interesting and we have always enjoyed the food there.

Excellent food with a good choice on the menu. Service was a little slow but was made up for with good coffee.

Sunday drive, lunch at Syds Cafe and Bar. Top service, delicious meals, can recommend the Steak Sammie and Fish and Chips. Excellent value for money. Highly recommend.
