      It's not the cleanest McDonald's you'll venture into (I don't think I've ever sat at a wiped-down table here before), but then again, it's ALWAYS packed! Considering that you're served promptly and the food is consistently hot, tasty and fresh, it's still a good dining option.

      I went there once during travelling between Auckland and Tauranga. It was not many people and my friend and I had a good time there.

      The restaurant was disappointing. Tables needed to be cleared and store was generally dirty. Toilets not any better.

      After a wonderful day visiting Hobbiton. Hungry bellys needed filling. McDonalds Matamata did the job superbly. Double fillet a fish ooh la la and double Big Mac for the teen, decent coffees and apple pies and we were ready to carry on our Matamata experience. Restaurant clean and staff friendly, thank you McDs.
