We weren't able to book a table on Saturday night so four of us just showed up at 8pm and the friendly staff rearranged the tables for us in this little restaurant.
The food was delicious - I highly recommend the banquet which is great value for money. I particularly love the mixed platter (meat), the chicken bhuna, lamb do-pyaza and the bombay potato (which I've had as a takeaway). The chicken and lamb were so tender and the heat level (medium) was just right.
The team are very friendly and accommodating and I'd definitely make the trip into Lyttelton again to eat here.

The spices used a super amazing and they are flavoursome, hot but not burning hot, can't get enough of the food over here ! Fluffy rice is cooked exactly to correct temp and superb customer service means this is a brilliant place to try.

Really nice and authentic tasty Indian food, they have good variety of naan and they taste super fresh especially the garlic naan which taste really good with chicken tikka masala .
Service is really good and the food comes out very fast so don’t have to spend too long waiting for it

Very delicious Indian style food. I had a Rogan Josh and chicken madras which were both very tasty and a good level of spice. The garlic naan as fresh and very good! Very friendly and welcoming staff and the wait time was short. Plenty of parking outside.

Was very tatsty Indian! I had the chicken pasanda and was just the right level of heat and creamy, was very good value with the $10 lunch special and the naan was huge for the price! Would recommend this place
