A great place to go when wanting a good steak or good pub food. I like to go here with friends as they have a really good outdoor area. They also have a great selection of beers on tap to choose from. Great Friday night drink specials.

Quite pricey for what you get with this restaurant. Went here for drinks and lite snacks, and we were hoping for more food. Portion sizes were a bit disappointing for the price.

We've dined here 4 or 5 times here now, and have been pleased with the service every time. A good option for when you're in search of your classic pub food type meals. Child-friendly as there is a child menu that comes with an entertainment bag. The Cheeky Chook was wonderfully tasty, and my absolute favourite main to date. The only dish we've tried that I was underwhelmed by (please note: we've tried many, and this was the ONLY questionable one) was the crispy battered fish & chips, it wasn't bad by any means, but was a wee bit on par with the local chippy. My expectations may be too high- but I expect melt in your mouth fish when I order it on a dine out. We booked using First Table once, and what a great offer that was! Would happily visit again.

First place i've seen in New Zealand that does the authentic UK style gastro pub experience. Pub food done in a fine dining manner, and a great spot on a sunny day to enjoy your meal. Wide selection of beers and ciders is an added bonus.

My friends and I always have a great time every time we visit this restaurant. The price and quality of the food are unbeatable. The ambience is perfect for catching up with some mates. Highly recommended!
