Soprano Italian Caffe

This is a must visit if you love Italian food like I do! Such a lovely little restaurant with food that is to die for, very welcoming staff who make you feel very valued as a customer despite it always being so busy. Great selection of main meals, personally I would opt for a pasta dish as it's always cooked to perfection, and you can never go wrong with good pasta. All their desserts are delicious but I would definitely recommend the flourless chocolate cake, it's honestly the best I've ever had, or the tiramisu which is also a favourite. Very reasonably priced.

Cosy Italian restaurant on Little Bourke near Chinatown. Came for lunch on a weekday, greeted and seated within 5 minutes without a reservation.

Soprano is cozy and lively, always full in the evenings, service is good, food is great too! Good selection of wines. It seems a bit expensive but the atmosphere is well worth it. One of the best places for a nice dinner in Petone in our opinion.
