Awesome restaurant, dine here last week, I ordered the JOHN DEER and my partner ordered JOHNNY CASH STASH , the meal was really good , enjoyed the meal very much . GOOD value for the meal that we ordered .

Went to Lonestar Petone for a 30th and left quite unimpressed. The meals over the years have got smaller and the price has got steeper.
The food was OK but the service at this place is horrible. We were at Lonestar Rotorua and the Petone staff really need to be sent there for some training.
Firstly it took quite a while for the staff to seat us even though we had booked and didn't arrive early. Then they took our drink orders. And we waited and waited.... finally after about 20 mins they came back with our drinks and took our food order.
Food took a little while to come out but when it did it didn't all come at once. It was a staggered service over a period of 40 mins so while people tried to wait until everyone got their food this was unviable in the end as food was getting cold. In the end some of us were finished our meal while others still hadn't been served. To top it off the birthday boy was served last and pretty much left eating by himself while everyone else just sat there awkwardly.
The only thing that saved the night from being a complete disaster was the Rugby that they had playing on a TV next to us that people could watch.
Food was just like the food at any Lonestar, done reasonably well but not as what the price reflects.
Could easily go just about anywhere else in Wellington and get superior service, the same sort of meal but for about half the cost.
Will definitely not be returning to Lonestar Petone

love this restaurant because the lamb shanks are really good , love the venison steaks which i had last time I was there. Great atmosphere and customer service is excellent. Love to go back and dine here again

Love this place. Their spareribs is so yummy, I can eat it everyday. The service is always excellent. Seats are nice and comfy.

Beautiful meal of dixie chicken Amazing service amazing food super yummy massive helpings. Great prices. Cheers guys for such friendly service the restaurant was packed which is a great sign that the food was so yummy. Great night out
