Chapelli's Eatery & Wine Bar

Good location near to Central Hutt. Hasn't got the best look in terms of decor and having pockie machines and is very much an old fashioned bar from a few years ago. Hopefully it gets a refresh decor and style wise as the Hutt could do with more places like this.

You have got to try Chapelli's!! New owners and management so a few changes in décor taking place. For instance there was a chap there today doing some artwork on one of the doors. We had a team lunch there today. Really good portion sizes on the fettuccini too. The best part was actually the bread & dip which we started with and everyone raved about. Coffee was just as I like it. And it didn't cost much either!!

The food is good, but I didn't like the atmosphere with the pokey machines and a bunch of people standing outside smoking. Good pizza though.

Relaxed atmosphere and they serve very tasty traditional style wood fired pizzas, which you can see cooking in the big oven while at the bar. Reasonable priced food and drinks. Good service. Small but has some outside seating out front as well.

Seems to be the place for all the very young to hang out on a Friday and Saturday getting boozed. Food is great tho if you avoid a weekend
