Little River Cafe & Store

Love stopping by here to look in the shop and gallery. I think they just need to change the layout of the cafe, it’s really cramped! Fine for takeaways though. Hit and miss with the staff as they mainly seem to be travellers. Some are fantastic and others don’t seem to know what they are doing.

Always a must stop on the way to and from Akaroa. Great if you want to get the fam just an icecream, but also great for more substantial meals. Nice wee art gallery next door to look through and some old trains on the other side that kids love.

Really great selection of sandwiches, soups, and salads. Excellent coffees and baked goods too for a quick afternoon stop. Lovely outdoor patio. Would recommend.
