although very popular, i think the tourist prices are unnecessary because most of those frequenting here are locals. nevertheless they do have nice quality food.

a good feature here is that they offer a 1/2 price 1/2 hour sale. but to be honest they need to pay attention to things such as windows. its a shame, because their food and atmosphere is relatively pleasant.

The umpkin soup was delicious and the bacon, eggs and hash browns were grest as well. Coffee was yummy, will be back.

The Sponge Kitchen is a great place to have a coffee and a meal with friends, or to pick up a roll, cake or sandwich for lunch. it's split into two sections, take away on the one side, and the eat in section on the other. There is ample parking off the main street, running parallel to the state highway, and an entry in the back, so you don't need to battle for a parking spot on the main street.
The cafe style food is very reasonable, and delicious. Definitely worth a visit!

Awesome place with great food and great service. Meals are huge! Great lamb shanks and staff are super friendly.
