Golden Silk Thai Restaurant

This is one of our regular eatery. Authentic thai food perfectly spiced for all palettes. We always go there for lunch. They have got some classic thai selection for lunch. Pad thai, spicy chicken in thai basil sauce, golden fried rice are some of the must try dishes. They do have a full beverage menu. Service staff are very friendly. They do sell some prawn crackers which is quite nice. We always eat Thai hot food since we love spicy food but they have also got an option of kiwi hot if you like spicy but not too much. Classical thai curries are also sumptuous.

Friendly atmosphere and great food.My other Favorite is tofu and vegetables with peanut sauce. Ordering online is 10% cheaper. Also they have specials every day, please check them out before coming, for example, Fridays are the cheapest days to bring a company.

I've been to a few Thai restaurants in Auckland, but this one is (so far) my favourite. From the friendly, attentive service to the food, I can't find fault in any of it. My girlfriend and I went on a Monday for dinner and ordered the King Prawn Spring Rolls (so tasty), a peanut-based curry and a "surf 'n turf" stir fry from their special menu. The presentation was good, but more importantly, the flavours were excellent. What made it more impressive was how the total cost remained under $60. For such a classy-looking restaurant, they're extremely good value for money.

what a lovely find. The best Thai food that I have ever had. Lovely clean place with very friendly staff. Quick in taking our orders and delivered our food to our table in a timely manner. I would recommend this place to any lover of authentic Thai food
