Set on over 4 acres of farmland the Lodge is very handy for any traveller. We Cater To All Your Pet Needs Karapiro Pet Lodge, is where your pet becomes our pet, qualified Vet Nurse owner happy to care for special needs pets, post surgery, elderly pets and all other pets. We recognise that people have a diverse range of pets that require boarding facilities as well, we can take them all. We cater for all pets: Dogs Cats Rabbits Guinea Pigs Rats Mice Birds Chinchillas Puppies Kittens Fish Winter afternoon hours April 1st - 30th September 4-5.30pm.

      Extremely professional service. You need to book during holidays because it fills up fast. Vaccinations required which makes me feel okay about leaving my cat. Very nice staff and a very clean cattery.

      We are always very happy with the excellent care our dog receives from the lovely, friendly team at Karapiro Pet Lodge. Our dog frequently stays at this pet lodge and we have never had any problems or concerns. They are very accommodating, even when we make last minute plans there are never any problems! Our dog always comes home happy and we can tell she has been well cared for.

      We would definitely recommend Karapiro Pet Lodge to anyone looking for a clean, caring and friendly place to leave their pet.

      The worse pet kennel experience we have had with our dogs. Our dogs came home upset, filthy, with fleas and incredibly hungry after a 2 week stay. When asked how our dogs were during their stay - she replied that she does not know and quite frankly she was rude and not customer focused at all. All the rules and regulations up front should have been a warning I should have heeded.

      In addition the bill was larger than agreed as a surcharge was added for public holidays.

      We will not be using them again.

      I wouldn't want anyone else apart from the team at Karapiro Pet Lodge to look after my babies! Great environment for all animals and you know they are in great hands. Highly recommend to all.
