- We're known as 'The Club that has it all'! If it is sport you like, our sports section has multiple TV's on catering for the wide range of sports. Activities such as Pool, snooker, darts and Indoor bowls are also available. If it is sit down and natter we have leaners or tables for you to relax in. Entertainment is on every week, except for over January. On-site catering team open for lunches Sunday to Friday from 12pm and for dinner Thurs/Fri from 6pm and Saturday/Sunday from 5pm. The restaurant is open to the public (but you will have to be a member to visit the Club area). Where else would you go!

General Info
The Invercargill Workingmen's Club (IWMC) has been operating since 1964 and is an essential part to the Invercargill community. Young and old can mix and mingle in a relaxing atmosphere away from the bustling bar scene. From a hive of activity in our sports area, the quiet area around the dance floor, to the mouth-watering buffet restaurant this is indeed "the Club that has it all"! Went for a rare tea out. We hadn't been here before so not sure how it works. After loitering in the doorway for a bit a waitress came and seated us but then just walked off. We waited a while but no one came back to tell us what we do or where to order, so we left feeling awkward and disappointed.

A good place for lunch. Wide range of selection. The staff was efficient and friendly. The price was okay and worth the experience. Would recommend to try this place out.

Excellent everything - and the kitchen, and the service, and the interior! Value for money in perfect harmony) Definitely recommend to visit!

My sister had her wedding reception at the invercargill working mans club. The building is old and beautiful. There are lots of parking spaces. The interior is clean and well laid out with huge halls perfect for entertaining and holding functions. The staff were great and helped us set up the tables and chairs. There was also a small bar. The whole experience was really nice.
