Countdown Supermarkets

Stopped here last night on the way back from Auckland to grab a lemonade. Really convenient location, right off the main road. Fizzy drinks were easy to find in store, great prices! Only $1 for the Fizz brand!
It was 5 mins till close time but I was welcomed in and I was served efficiently!

Bit smaller than the supermarkets in town but has an overall good selection of products. Parking is a bit of a pain as there isn't to much parking located very closely and trying to actually get into the carpark when you are not from the area proves a little harder than it should. Staff were nice and polite along with the shop being clean and tidy. No self service at this store which is a shame

Nice big store great bakery and great spot to stop in on way to hamilton.

This countdown is a little tired and in need of some huge facelifting. Staff are nice and happy to help and wont hesitate to strike up a conversation with you. Prices are normal for countdowns however they do have $2 frozen carrots, peas, beans, broccoli and cauli bags which I haven't seen anywhere else apart from this countdown. Rather small but has a lot in it. Huge amounts of parking (non under cover) store is well planned out with isles that actually make sense
