The Mussel Pot Restaurant

We had the sharing platter, it came with nice breads, there was plenty of mussels and they were so good we finished the lot.

Good wine and beer selection. Bathrooms excellent - you could eat in there quite comfortably - very clean.

Oh my gosh this place reignited my obsession with mussels! Stopped in here on the way to Nelson with a friend for lunch and were not disappointed. I got steamed mussels in white wine sauce and finished the whole lot plus fries.The outside area is decorated with painted mussels. Only 4.5 stars as the service wasn't great, they seated us then forgot about us!

Great restaurant with mussels fresh from the sea cooked different ways. I Love the mussel shell decorations inside the restaurant especially the big mussel shell fish hanging on the wall.

Freakin' fantastic restaurant! Great tasting food. Good service. I got the taster platter and it was a wonderful sample of all they have to offer.
