The Sugar Bowl Cafe

I think the food looks nicer than it tastes, it lacks flavour. Breakfast is amazing but lunch was a bit of a let down. Good coffee.

The coffee and food (roast vege salad and big breakfast) were good but there was no atmosphere. The building was drafty and the service wasn’t particularly friendly. Note - the kitchen closes at 2pm and that includes the cabinet food which we thought was odd. Coffee and cake is still available however.

This is my favourite cafe in Hamilton. It’s where my friends and I always go for brunch or lunch. I love the selection of the food they have. My go to is usually the burger of the day. I also really like the Thai prawn salad. And there duck fat fries are honestly so good. The place is also super quaint and the people are always friendly.

Best salmon eggs benedict, friendly staff...Beautiful sunny day. A bit off the main road but worth a visit. Highly recommended.

Fantastic French toast! Very generous serving of berry preserve and cream- the addition of dehydrated mandarin and strawberry pieces added a fun texture and a tangy sweet taste!
