The Helm Bar & Kitchen

I really enjoyed our last visit to the Helm. I always order the Seafood Chowder from the $12 lunch menu. Delicious food and always great customer service. Great atmosphere in the restaurant and garden bar.

Lovely staff, lovely food, lovely place for date night, catch up on the game, work do, family outings and kids parties. The helm do it best. 10/10 would recommend. Thanks for awesome nights with your cool staff. Head over to the helm for your one stop restaurant for that much needed night out.

Great atmosphere and surroundings. Made reservations beforehand for dinner and a corner table was set up for us which was great. Waitress was very friendly. Entrees were great. The only downside was that our mains took long and after we enquired they apologised and it took another 15 mins before our mains came out. While eating I realised the rice was undercooked. We let the waitress know but we had to leave for our movie so they couldn't have made fresh rice or had time to make up something else for us. So food service not that great but I wouldn't write them off yet. Planning to go back but to order a non-rice dish :)

I've been here multiple times. The service is friendly an the combination of restaurant/pub with good indoor/outdoor flow always appeals to me - as does the food - the whole reason go back an suggest to others to try! Try the pork belly!
