The Bank Bar & Brasserie

set in the old BNZ bank building, hence the nme. it is an affordable place to take the entire family. a bit cold and airy in there but you soon overcome that. great stuff

Went for the Sunday night steak deal. the steak cooked perfect. good atmosphere although building looked bit old. the service could be better not very attentive.

Great food at a really reasonable price. Would recommend if wanting good better than average pub food. Took my son-in-law here for dinner as he prefers basic food - he was really impressed by both the food and the cost.

The banks a great start for people on a smaller budget to have a dinner date or birthday get together,
The food is well you pay for what you get.
But other than that it’s a great atmosphere and a really great place for Friday/ Saturday night antics !

Staff were friendly enough but service was a bit slack...had to ask a couple of times for items and although we got a "yeah sure I'll just go get that for you now", we had to go up to the counter and re ask because waitress got distracted drying dishes...like we are waiting for our plates and cutlery so we can eat our food going cold on table...venue clean and tidy, nice atmosphere vibe, food is get what you pay for, plenty of parking...ok experience
