Great suburban restaurant, a jewel in Hamilton's culinary crown and a great area for kids

This was the best steak that I've ever had, was beautifully cooked and to go along with the food the wait staff was amazing. They helped with everything I inquired about.

Booking online was impressive , with confirmation and reminder and feedback form. Nice welcoming staff in the bar and at the front off house. Steaks were good with really nice sides and a top notch dessert selection.

I have found Smith & Mckenzie to have great value food and a good atmosphere for the family. My only criticism would be that my last experience was bit disappointing. I had advised the staff that I suffered from Celiac Disease, yet I felt they did not take the food allergy as serious as I had hoped. I would probably not dine there again as it is too risky, with a issue of cross contamination. For people with non food allergies, I think it would be perfect.
