      We had a fantastic evening out with oysters and beer/wine happy hour and extending it to dinner. The staff were very friendly and professional and nothing was too much trouble.

      Mmmmmmmm ....BRILLIANT food.... The Chefs' subtle and balanced juxtapositions of flavours in the dishes is stunning! Your taste buds will thank you. Lovely setting too, down alongside the beautiful Waikato River...

      I have been to Palate many times over the years and feel that it now lacks atmosphere and vibe. Food was ok but not outstanding. Friendly staff and the chef is lovely to talk to.

      This is our special occasion go to restaurant. Love the food and service. The chef (Matt) does fantastic wine and food matching. They have wonderful special evenings highlighting a food or wine type. Worth going to and making it your favourite to.

      We had some great food an service here. The fish and steaks were great. The desserts were equally as good.
