      Adriana's caffe & ristorante was established in the eighties as Hamilton's first authentic Italian cuisine restaurant. Named after the original owner, (Adriana - a vivacious and talented Italian lady), Adriana's has been trading successfully from its Alma Street premises in the CBD for 18 years and is proudly the oldest restaurant in the city.       We were visiting Hamilton for the World Rugby 7s and searched TripAdvisor for a great restaurant for the night before the event. Luckily we found and chose Adrianna's! We were warmly welcomed when we arrived even though we were early for our reservation. We had an aperitif whilst we perused the menu at our leisure. This restaurant offers BYO so we asked our waitress to open our bottle of red wine whilst we waited. We both chose the FILETTO al FUNGHI and were extremely pleased that we did. The steak was very tender and tasty and cooked to perfection. The sauce was delicious and there was plenty of it! My wife had the salad and I had fresh seasonal vegetables. Both were again excellent.

      Came across the website of this called famous restaurant. With good reviews we try it out. We had marinara which is average and ragu lasagne which is good. The thickness of the sauce is just right. The service is warm and approachable.

      The food was delicious, and savoury. Beautiful selections of dishes to choose from the menu. Friendly staff, especially the waitress Sophie. Thank you for a wonderful meal and experience in general. We will definitely be coming back!
