Blanchfield's Bakery

Located close to the centre of town, this bakery is in a convenient spot. While the location is great, the quality of the food lets it down. We've been in a couple of times as it is close enough to walk to from polytechnic on lunch break, both times really disappointed with the selection, the first time it was burnt items that were the issue, yesterday it was stale scones and awful, warm filled rolls that had clearly been sitting a long time.

The bakery is not very well stocked. There are a few different pie flavours to choose from and loaves of bread. I was disappointed to see there isnt much to choose from for sweet treats. I bought a pie and a drink. The pie was not very flavourful and the pastry tasted a bit off

only place I like for pikelets. Their food is freashly made on site and if you can't see what you want ask, they might have it for you out back
