Fairlie Bakehouse

Stopped in on our way to Christchurch as we'd heard about their famous pies. We were not disappointed. The salmon & bacon pie and the vegetable pie were both delicious. Their other cabinet food looked good too.
Only negative would be, there is no heating and we found it too cold for sitting down. Just a bit of heat would have helped.

Very popular and busy cafe but they are very efficient at getting through the orders. Pies are delicious and an awesome range to choose from

I finally made it here after seeing a news article on it a while ago about how good their pies were and I wasn't let down! I got chicken, cranberry and camembert and it was insanely delish! I bit more pricey than your standard old pie at $7 but well worth it. The custard squares are good too! Can get busy so be there early if you are eating in and want a table

Pies are super delicious coffee was only just warm unfortunately over all good service though :)

We popped in for lunch on our way through. Hubby enjoyed a pork pie and a cronut (cross between a croissant & donut). I had a little (tiny) quiche that was $5.50, which seemed very overpriced. No gluten free pies sadly and the little quiches are the only option. Left still feeling hungry. A very busy popular cafe, set amongst quirky gift shops. Helpful staff. Street parking
