The Good Oil Cafe

Busy atmosphere but a neat outdoor and indoor seating available. Their cabinet is nicely stocked and I couldn’t decide between croissant, slices, loaf or savory muffin!
In the end I decided to try something I wouldn’t normally get and opted for their savory muffin cheese spinach and relish.
Pretty soft and spongy with a light cheesy flavor, but not super special in any way and something that annoyed me was the inconsistency in their muffin sizes, and some were a little deformed but I guess food is food.

A wonderful selection of food. Especially love the salads and the coffee is great. The staff are friendly and will usually go out of their way to accommodate a group of people. A high standard of service offered.

A great little cafe where the staff are friendly and the service is really good. The coffee is so good and always best to get there just before the lunchtime rush begins to avoid the busy lunchtime period.

Stopped for a hot drink that turned into a bit of lunch. Tea and brownie for me. Julie chose the soup of the day - mushroom and thyme and reported it as excellent. We always find The Good Oil to be reliably great.
