The Bog Irish Bar Dunedin

Went there for dinner. The evening was cold and a pie with mash, peas and gravy was just what we felt like.The menu read well. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for hearty traditional food.

If you are looking for an Irish pub in Christchurch this is the place to be, although it is situated in a modern building once inside it has very authentic feel and great atmosphere

Came here for lunch today as a group of 4. We were told the upstairs does not open until 5pm which was disappointing as a band were doing a sound check and it was hard to hear each other at times. The service however, was wonderful, and the food was amazing. I ordered the Cashel Mall Melt and it was perfect. The only downside is the plum sauce with the crispy chicken tasted more like a vinegary tomato sauce but other than that the meal was amazing :D Will definitely be back

Enjoyable meals, great location and a nice atmosphere. I particularly liked that there is an upstairs seating area.

Good live music, quality staff that are very friendly. Really good atmosphere for all ages. Food is also amazing great to take the family to for a classic New Zealand pub meal with a bit of extra class. Reasonable pricing could offer cheaper tap beer.
