Taieri Gorge Railway

I recently did the Taieri Gorge Railway trip with family from out of town and was impressed at the stunning scenery and over-all experience. We enjoyed the stop for lunch and the little market at the end. The canteen on the train stocked a good range of food and drinks.

We had an absolute blast on the Taieri Gorge train, the views were amazing and the on board commentary was very informative. The food on the train was satisfactory and the staff were great.

Wow! The scenery on this trip was amazing and the commentary from the guides was awesome. Well worth the money for anyone that's debating.

Great scenery, and some of the souvenirs in the booking office. If you haven't been you on the scenic trips they offer, then do yourselve a favour and book one :-)

Highly recommended to take the train through the Taieri Gorge. Awesome scenery and you can walk around the train and stand on the outside decks while moving for more of the views. Yummy food on board as well.
