Salt Bar Restaurant is a Cafe by day - Bar and Restaurant by night. Outdoor seating to soak up the sunshine or cosy fire-side dining on cold winter nights. Open Monday-Friday for lunch and dinner and Saturday and Sunday for brunch and dinner. Bookings are essential. To make a booking or for any inquiries please phone us.

Great coffee and service even when they are flat out busy!!
I am hoping though that they've moved the outside table from under the tree ...the ever so cute and friendly little birds were happy to accept our crumbled offerings while fluttering their tails at our table ...& then pooping on us from the overhanging tree!! Beware what lurks above lol!

We ordered drinks and knew what we wanted to have as starters so ordered at same time, I got calamari and my husband spring rolls, yummy on both accounts, for my main I had stuffed chicken breast and husband the ribeye, perfectly cooked steak, so I was told and the chicken was moist and the sauce with it was very nice.
The decor is warm and inviting and I love their art deco features such as the light fittings and the mirrors in the bathrooms.

Service was excellent but prices too high for the type of establishment and food inconsistent. Seasonal veges side was over cooked but as part of main dish excellent. Steak was good and well cooked with an unusual flavour in the jus . Nice location and lovely open fire.

Lovely coffee. Great place to sit in the sun and chat with friends
Fantastic! We went a combination of the smaller dishes as they were ALL amazing. Fast quick service and lovely surroundings. Reasonably priced too
