We landed in the Dunedin on the coldest day of the year which for a family of East Coast North Islanders was like nothing we had experienced in our lives. Honestly it was that cold. Even though we checked in late the service was above and beyond friendly and genuinely caring. Our room was well lit and you couldn't imagine the relief when we stepped inside and the heater was on and the room was bathed in warmth.
