Modaks Espresso

Had brunch. Modak stack = corn fritters were good but quite oily. The monster eggs (big breakfast meal) was good, had good beans and your usual bacon, sausage, ciabatta, tomato, 2 poached eggs and mushrooms. Small portion of mushrooms though. Tap water not very good.

Super yum food and drinks. Fab staff but can get very busy. Awesome vibe inside and a nice spot to catch up with a friend over lunch. Great catering for vegans and vegetarians. Delicious cabinet food and menu options.

Quirky place with a great buzz. It's handy to pop in for a very good coffee or get a breakfast muffin or pastry, or even toast. The staff are really friendly even when it gets really busy, tgey mske time for all the customers.

Good cafe with great food options for reasonable prices, good for students! However I have a sunflower seed allergy and when ordering a bagel meal I told them about this and asked if the bagel had sunflower seeds in it and they checked and said it didn't, but the pesto in the bagel had been made with sunflower seeds which they didn't know, and I ended up having an allergic reaction to it, so make sure that if you have an allergy that they are 100% certain of the ingredients in the meal!

Very good coffee, and exceptionally friendly, polite, helpful staff. Even when the place is crowded, service is just as good.
