Great small airport. Good food and quick

Making improvements to to the airport and modernizing it is all great but I think free wifi and more staff to ensure passengers are processed through immigration and security more swiftly are more important than the shops

Great little airport. Good selection is limited but fine for a small airport. The games area is also great form of entertainment for kids (and husbands)

In considering expectations one has to remember that this is a regional airport with limited international flights. Services and the terminal itself have been steadily upgraded over the years. I can remember a time when there were no extended hours shops/cafes at all. Duty free store is open when international flights are on. Visited yesterday to make a pickup and used the free wifi.

An excellent little international airport that I have flown in and out of many times, air new Zealand service is really good, never have any problems, staff show high standard of professionalism. A little distance outside the city but shuttles or other forms of transportation are good to get there.
