Countdown Supermarkets

A great supermarket, it's huge and has a huge carpark. They stock a great range of products and have a lot of selection. Especially compared to other countdowns in the area which stock more limited lines. The isles are usually wide enough to fit down when it's busy. But the entrance/exit to the car park can be an absolute nightmare. Trying to leave when the supermarket and road is busy can take a really long time as traffic on the street gets really backed up so cars cannot leave the car park.

Really large supermarket with a wide range of products. Great place to go for the weekly shop.

Usually really nice people at every countdown I go to. Town countdown can be a bit rude, however the more local ones have some of the most lovely people, and they’re always very helpful.

Good parking, if awkward at times getting in or out (surprised they got permission to put in the lights where they did). This is a newer store and is a bit less cramped than some others. Really happy they recycle soft plastic packing. Reasonable prices on homebrand etc, though a supermarket not too far away has cheaper pricing on many day to day standard items like Whiskas cat food. When they have pet food on special they are well worth stocking up from though.

Always have trouble with getting a trolley with a child seat as they are in an awkward place but nice store with helpful staff
