Have visited this cafe many times during visits to Dunedin. Beautiful selection of food and superb coffee. Prompt friendly service

Almost walked past this cafe whilst looking for someone for a quick bite, but was very quiet and had friendly, fast service.

Lovely food! Excellent service! Superb atmosphere! Close to the library and cute little place.
I ended up going to the Civic cafe twice - they make REALLY GOOD COFFEE!! I tried one of the drinks off their special board - white chocolate mocha latte?? Something like that. Anyway - it looked so good my partner kept spooning mouthfuls of it before I even got a chance to take a sip. So the next day I bought him one and I had a normal latte. Both drinks were really good.
And the wedges were just what we needed too. As a visitor to the town I loved the large photo on the wall of the area. The place was warm, clean, cozy and the staff were friendly.

Close to the library and a great place to stop for some morning tea. Really good pricing.

Right next to the Dunedin public library, this cafe is well positioned in central Dunedin. Good selection of food.
