Bridgestone Tyre Centre/ Firestone

I took my car here to have the alignment done after I moved to the area. When I arrived to pick it up just before closing time the chap I was dealing with had gone home & the person left there didn't seem to know much about anything. I paid the amount owing & left. As I drove away I heard a knocking/grating kind of noise & literally pulled over & checked under the bonnet but couldn't see anything. I drove tentatively home & the noise eventually stopped but the alignment was still pulling badly to the left. I returned on the Monday morning to speak with the original guy - he told me my car was the problem! That my car had been in a heavy impact crash at some stage which had put the chassis out! Well I had owned the car for over ten years at that time and it had never been in a crash. He offered to redo the alignment but not to reimburse me. I didn't want him anywhere near my vehicle again. I took it to another place just up the road and they did a fine job.
