very ascetically pleasing looking place but service was not so pleasing, very long wait time for food, food not being the best and we were over charged to top it all off, sort that out and you,ve got a lovely wee restaurant

Went here for coffee and cake in the evening. Beautiful building and lovely grounds. Service was a bit slow when we were there and could have been a bit friendlier. Pricing was OK. Yummy desserts, servings were on the smaller side. They are under new management now so could have changed.

My husband & I celebrated our wedding anniversary by having dinner here. I ordered Pork Belly & was a little disappointed that it was a rolled piece with only 3 very tiny strips of cracking. My husband ordered the Fillet Med/Rare - he said it was perfect. We ordered 2 sides each Balsamic Beets with rocket, Kumara Gratin, Wild Mushrooms & Yorkshire Pudding with red wine jus, all of them were delicious. The deserts we had were lovely Creme Brulee with Black Doris Plum Icecream & 3 large pieces of biscotti which were not necessary for this desert. My husband had Lime Cheesecake which could not be faulted it was amazing. The wines were excellent & so was the service, we will definitely eat here again.

We went for dinner. Staff were pleasant but Tapas food was salty and fatty. There was little choice on the menu. More fresh food please. I have been to have coffee there on a number of occasions and each time coffee was not up to standard.

Top notch food, if you have a group of 10 or so - book the library room, very cosy unique place to dine.
