Had a wonderful wee walk around the bush. A calm, quiet place in the middle of the city. Cool and dark with a totally different atmosphere to that in the grounds around the house. Predator proof fence but apparently no kiwi there at the moment? A lot of history in Dean's cottage and the main house - this would be an awesome location for a function or wedding.

Nice local market with very nice hand make stalls and very nice food. Highly recommend this lovely place to walk.

We frequent this place often with our mums and bubs group. Great walk in the bush then coffee and scones at the cafe. Not usually busy mid week and plenty of outdoor and indoor seating.

A lovely place to walk around with kids. Always find it nice and peaceful as it doesnt seem to be busy alot of the time. The cafe does nice food and coffee for a reasonable price.
