      Riccarton Clinic is a large urban General Practice and Urgent Care facility, offering an accident/illness service to anybody that needs us and normal GP practice services to enrolled patients. The clinic provides an After Hours service, being open until 8pm every day of the week, including weekends and public holidays. We have X-ray facilities and a pharmacy too. Note: if it is an emergency you should either call 111 and ask for an ambulance or go to the Emergency Department at the main Christchurch Hospital. Riccarton Clinic is visited by over 80,000 patients per year but, despite its size, it retains a family doctors feeling with enrolled patients enjoying modern facilities and after-hours access to nurses and doctors. Whether you need a routine check-up, a pre-employment medical, or urgent care, we are able to provide for you. Either give us a call or just drop-in - no appointment necessary.       staff are lovely here. We called in on a sunday for a eye problem. The wait time was 2 hours the doctor was very good and sent us away witj eye cream. Good parking and a pharmacy..

      Wait time over two hours but once we did see Dr he was good.

      We choose to enrol our toddler here rather than at our family doctor.
      The staff are friendly and compassionate and as a mother they reassure me when I take her in.
      We have the choice of walk in or booking an appointment.

      The car parking is excellent and the wait area is spacious.

      Handy place to go if you need a dr when yours is shut. The triage system seems to work well. The doctors are very thorough, and it's handy that there is a pharmacy onsite. The wait can be long, but that's to be expected.
