Riccarton Clinic is a large urban General Practice and Urgent Care facility, offering an accident/illness service to anybody that needs us and normal GP practice services to enrolled patients. The clinic provides an After Hours service, being open until 8pm every day of the week, including weekends and public holidays. We have X-ray facilities and a pharmacy too. Note: if it is an emergency you should either call 111 and ask for an ambulance or go to the Emergency Department at the main Christchurch Hospital. Riccarton Clinic is visited by over 80,000 patients per year but, despite its size, it retains a family doctors feeling with enrolled patients enjoying modern facilities and after-hours access to nurses and doctors. Whether you need a routine check-up, a pre-employment medical, or urgent care, we are able to provide for you. Either give us a call or just drop-in - no appointment necessary. The wait time was 2 hours. Good doctors tho and they didnt mind me walking my wee guy up and down the walkway.Good parking and a pharmacy.

Friendly receptionists . Good place to go for last minute appt . Can have to wait for a while but drs friendly . Waiting room is nice and magazines to read while to wait.

Opening hours are great. Standard of medical care is slightly subpar. Great to have a pharmacy and X-Ray adjacent.

Decent clinic but is always extremely busy. Last I check the afterhours wait was over 3 hours, what if people are in pain?

Horrible service and wait times, would not recommend.
Three times I have problems at this place I should have left sooner.
1. I suffer crohns and am only allowed certain pain mediciation because it makes my problems worse- they accused me of being a drug addict even though they had notes from my specialist telling them to prescribe it.
2. Not updating me on important results was followed up by someone else asking why I hadn't contacted them.
3. Booking an appointment at 3.45 waiting until 4.30 then being told your doctors was only 5-10 mins no more then at 4.45 being told they have put someone else in front of you and you have to wait another 10-20. Thanks I was in a lot of pain and am really sick, appreciate your service and care.
