New Brighton Denture Clinic

AI initially had my first plate made here 13 years ago. After returning from Auckland (and having a dismal replacement plate made up there) I requested Mike to make a new top plate for me... the main thing I requested was that they look like REAL teeth and not some generic pink set of 'hospital dentures' - God forbid!
Mike was incredible in his understanding exactly what I was looking for - right down to a slight gap in the front teeth (as I used to have with my natural teeth) His patience, tolerance and very easy going manner made the process extremely easy and totally worth while... I couldn't be happier.
I can totally recommend Mike to anyone seeking a first or replacement plate.

An Ode to gnashers written by a lovely patient.

I recently met the tooth fairy,
Care to know what it was like?
For a fairy he was really very scary,
With the unlikely name of Mike.

My dentures were getting quite fragile,
And cracks did begin to appear,
I'd put off getting replacements
Out of cowardice and year.

My fears were unfounded,
much to my relief,
For Mike's a genius in the arts of 'the teef'

He worked carefully from photos...
from days of yore,
Even a GINified snap
posed by a dance hall door.

The outcome? Remarkable!
I see my young self.
And only two trips
needed for sore spot help.

I'll miss my trips to relaxed, arty Mike Smith,
A talented man-there's no hit or miss.
Not forgetting noble assistant Natasha,
Appointment maker extraordinaire for Mike's natty gnashers.

So thank you dear Mike
It's now a true pleasure,
To have chompers to chomp with,
They are a real treasure.

He is awesome! You can tell that he is very passionate about his work. He's very knowledgeable and so caring.

He can't do ACC funded dentures, unless you pay upfront, then claim cost back from ACC.
