KUMO Japanese Cuisine

Authentic Japanese food served on a conveyer belt that circles the tables. There was an excellent choice and everything was fresh and full of flavour. You just help yourself as the dishes go past.

I had lunch at Kumo with my adult son. The decor, the soft music and the quietly efficient Japanese staff all set the scene for the consumption of beautifully presented Japanese dishes. My son had the best Bento box he said that he had ever experienced, I selected several dishes from the sushi train. I soon had a pile of empty plates beside me. I particularly enjoyed the wide variety of sea food dishes. I loved the look of the dinner menu. I intend to return for an evening meal.

The taste is alright but the lunch menu proportion is a little bit too small. The booking for Tuesday buffet is so hard to book and not much variety of dishes for the buffet. Quite limited.

I had a vegetarian tofu 'steak' dish that was delicious, came with a miso and rice $11.50 from memory. The food on the sushi train also looked very appetizing. It's a comfortable environment, lovely staff and I felt very reasonably priced. I will definitely go back when I'm over that side of town.

Friendly staff. Nice sushi but the price is a bit over. Taste is alright.
