Excellent selection of cakes and baked goods, perfect for a quick take away luncheon or ordering a specially made cake they are excellent. Their new building is great. Prices pretty good aswell

Definitely a great spot for coffee as around the area with Tinman they are the only one offering specialty coffee. As far as food goes, I found my eggs benedict nice but not up there with the other cool cats of the brunch scene. But in saying that, their focus is coffee and coffee is great!

Being a vegetarian, I was thrilled to see more than just a token meat-free choice that most cafes offer. The Almond-milk coffee was hot and not watery like I’ve tried at several other Christchurch cafes, and I was asked upon ordering if I would like marshmallows (nice to be given the option). The owner was on-site, the staff friendly and courteous.
I have added Kidd’s to my list of places to come back.

Great place to get birthday cakes,latest cake we got done was Disney Princess and was a superb job,all the kids were delighted and was surprised by the cost much cheaper than I expected

Must say a far better cake than the previous one we ordered which was dry and actually on the side of burnt, as there was quarter left un touched , no one would take it. Actually gave feedback on it, and after calling to say it was not up to scratch, no one cared, but this time we had the banana cake, and it was good sorry instructions were not followed through and the icing was the wrong color, offered to change it, well we have bright red and bright green how long is it going to take to rip it off and re ice a huge cake, thanks for the offer, i wonder where the previous feedback on the last cake went too. Maybe removed, maybe a discount on the next one would have been good customer service, but put the price up by $30.00 from the last one we ordered. funny that.
