Welcome to The Garden Restaurant - we are a buffet restaurant that provides delicious Asian and local favourite meals in the heart of Christchurch City. Open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week, we are part of the Garden Hotel Complex and can also provide breakfast for those staying in the hotel. Our menu soups, fried food, international cuisine, seafood and carvery - but what we are really known for are our mouth-watering desserts! Be sure to try our hot date sticky pudding with custard sauce or the famous New Zealand pavlova. Our relaxed and friendly environment is perfect for any occasion - from a family meal out to an intimate meal for two. The price was pretty reflective of the food, which could have been a bit hotter and experimenting with some flavours and other dishes wouldn’t go a miss, however the service was really friendly and more than made up for some of the food. Nice little place, just don’t expect too much.

Great variety of option. Food is lovely. Staff are friendly and come and attentive The place was inviting, clean and cosy.

Good value buffet but food rather bland. Cheap and cheerful. Basic decor with little ambiance.very helpful, polite and cheery staff over here . Cheesecake was absolutely delicious.

The food and presentations of the food is outstanding. Very happy with my experience I had here, very nice place to eat out at, the service was amazing.

Came here for the all you can eat buffet and was definitely not disappointed wow! there was such a good selection of foods especially the desserts were amazing!
