Fava Cafe

My daughter and I came I this cafe for morning coffee. There was a great selection of food in the cabinet. My daughter had vegan energy ball which was delicious and I had an enormous date scone. Our coffee was also delicious.

The place itself always seems slightly in need of a good scrub and update to me....maybe that's erroneous. There is outside seating as well as interior, but you do catch the dreaded Christchurch easterly out there.

Popular with the weekend lycra brigade on their cycles. Not exclusively tho, if you're passing, stop in for a coffee with or without something to nibble.

Excellent café! The environment is lovely with heaps of space and seating! The seating is interesting too, inside there are tables and some couches with books and coffee tables and the outside area is lovely too with a huge stone table and a garden with private seating areas. It's very pretty. The menu food is great too, came here for breakfast and the hand-made hashbrown was incredible! Great coffee too
