Visitors talk about feeling the friendliness as soon as they come through the main doors. The rest home offers high quality, full residential care, 24 hours a day, with a registered nurse on site at all times. Our nurses are backed up by a multi-disciplinary team of doctors, physiotherapists, podiatrists, dietitians, and other health professionals who visit Elmswood Retirement Village throughout the week. Respite and daycare are also available. Elmswood has a reputation for great food, prepared on site by our chefs and kitchen staff. As well as delicious and nutritious meals, fresh home made baking is on the menu everyday. We also cater for a wide variety of dietary needs. Activities and entertainment are offered throughout the week in the Rest Home¿s large main lounge. Intimate sitting areas are also scattered around the facility, giving residents a variety of places to read a book, have a chat and a coffee with friends or family, or simply take in the view of our beautiful gardens. Our 54 Rest Home rooms are private and all located in the main building. A registered nurse is on site at all times and is supported by a team of healthcare assistants, as well as a multi-disciplinary team of doctors, physiotherapists, podiatrists, dietitians, and other health professionals who visit throughout the week. We pride ourselves on our clinical care and commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest innovations in aged care. We are absolutely patient-focused and dedicated to looking after all aspects of a person¿s wellbeing. We want people to feel as good as possible about themselves and their treatment, while they are in hospital, and do our utmost to achieve this by paying attention to the big and small things in life. There is always joy, laughter, and regular activities for those who want to participate. We know that having a loved one in hospital can be a difficult and stressful time for families and we do all that we can to make families feel welcome and comfortable while they are spending time with us.
