Dumplings

$2 rice has been an iconic thing since i was a young kid. years later (but different location) and still tastes just the same, so good! i now take my girls there for treats.

The food is very cheap. You can’t believe they are selling 2$ rice

Dumplings have been around for years I remember when they used to be in the Arcade in town before the big Earthquakes. Delicious rice, crispy fried chicken and their sauce is amazing!! It is always very busy and popular. Keep up the great work!!

Love the $2 rice. Dumplings has been around Christchurch for years and the food is consistently delicious and very cheap! The owners are super friendly and there's always places to sit in the shop even though it gets busy. Parking outside.

You can't go passed $2 rice. Served in a sea of chickeny gravy, you get a huge serving for a tiny price. Plus for an extra $1.50 you can get a freshly baked, chewy bread stick to soak up all the sauce. Its definitely not fancy, but fills you up and tastes delish. Parking is not great outside as its on busy Riccarton Rd, but backs onto the mall so you can always park in there to get to it.
