It is the busiest and most strategic southern air connection to the world's trade and tourism markets, having welcomed a record 6.7 million passengers last year. There is nowhere in the world you can't reach internationally by flying out of Christchurch.

Great airport with very helpful staff. Recently I had a flight from Christchurch to Wellington and I went to the information desk and the staff person was very friendly and helped me out. The interior of the airport is very spacious and modern and the food court has a lot of food selections and great coffee shops with heaps of seating.

Love the new exterior design of the airport. Interior is very comfortable to wait in as well as it has nice seating. There are many cafes and convenience stores and a great car park located to the left of the building.

the airport is only 20 minutes drive from the city center. there are lots of screens so easy to find your flight information shops and food courts are just enough to keep you interested.

Every visit to Christchurch has been special for us. The airport is so welcoming and gives a spectacular feeling

Fantastic airport, great facilities all round. Good parking, good cafes, large and spacious. Clean, tidy and modern.
