Chipmunks Playland & Cafe Papanui

We take the youngest to the chipmunks in Dunedin quite often so took her here while on holiday and its just as good as the one in our hometown.. It's always a good clean safe environment for kids to play in and She had a blast playing there.

Took my son and his friends there for birthday payed for the delux package they paut us in the room to wait an hr for the food then i had to ask for the cake which took almost an hr was just a 2lt cookies n cream tipped upside down which i payed 18 for. Then mist my quest had to leave without the goody bags cause they lost the keys to the cupboard. No apologies nothing which was the worst part

went on a busy Saturday to attend a birthday party. The refurbished playground looked amazing. The cafe area was clean, and the staff were beyond helpful and extremely friendly. We stayed an extra 2 hours. Coffee was nice and food was reasonable price wise. The kids cant wait to go back.

I haven't visited since it has been re-vamped recently but when I last went it was dirty and run down. I am reluctant to go back as it was also extremely busy then and quite expensive.

Over crowded and loud. Lots of things that required extra payment which lead to nagging kids the whole time. My daughter got a huge blister from a rough patch on a slide and the staff didn't care.
