Avonhead tavern

A busy tavern with a great atmosphere. The staff were generous and friendly.

I ordered the mushroom sauce Porterhouse with chips and salad, my fiance' ordered the Angus triple stack burger and the garlic bread. Honestly ? The food was average. The garlic bread was good. The steak was medium and not medium rare, my fiance's burger had too much mustard

Haven't been here for years, but did visit last weekend and was surprised at the change. Was the perfect place on a wet afternoon. Cozy, friendly staff and the food was really good. I'll definitely return a lot sooner next time!

had a really nice meals at this pub, good fair portions and lots of flavour which most pubs lack.
lots of seating and staff around to help out quickly.
