Cafe Ole

A lovely cafe that hides itself away in a busy spot. The mild Mediterranean theme just makes this place summery and somewhere nice to relax. The coffee is wonderful, the staff are cheery and the small lunch menu is made up for by excellent options.

Try their fantastic egg. bacon and cheese pies, then another day try there lovely pepper steak pies. all wonderful. best pies in New Zealand. I prefer the first ones.. they are famous in Carterton for their home baked pies.

ood food, I had the Salmon Super Salad with halloumi and poached eggs. Salmon was cooked good but the salmon I got was sliced thinly and was not enough compared to the size of the dish. The place has good ambience and friendly staff!
