Carey's Bay Historic Hotel

A typical local with an almost old-world English pub flair. Very cosy, very welcoming and even with a couple of craft beer taps. What a nice surprise.

If you like seafood you have got to eat here! We cake for lunch on a cold day it was so nice and warm inside we ordered a pint of Emerson's which they have on tap to sip on while looking over the menu. The staff here are friendly and attentive without being overbearing or pushy. We ordered the mussel pot and the whitebait special. We loved our meals they were so fresh and delicious. We will be back again without a doubt.

Great location for a meal out as well as any event/conference. There is plenty on offer from the kitchen and all smell amazing, they are quite reasonably priced and the food tasted freshly cooked. Staff are prompt in their service and helpful.

Beautiful location. Great menu. However food was average and portion sizes very inconsistent. Staff friendly and helpful but service very slow.

Had High Tea here, was very impressed. Lovely food, service was great, loved the outdoor(ish) dining area.
