Speights Ale House Blenheim

Modern bar with helpful staff who wants to serve you a drink. The setting is perfect in every way. When we are in Blenheim we always go to the Speights Ale House. They also serve good New Zealand wine

We went there on a Sunday afternoon with two adults and one toddler. The restaurant was booked out for dinners but we only wanted snacks and a drink. The staff was very helpful and suggested the sofa area which was great with a toddler. They have toys stacked under the seat and also have high chair. We ordered the loaf with hummus and dukkah which was really good. We will definitely go back.

Good service and good food on a quiet night, warm and cosy.

We had the house fresh hot bread ‘Baked Speight’s Ale House bread, warm and delicious with plain and garlic butter’ and we had some type of special chips with bacon and cheese over the top of them. It was nice feed and it wasn't too bad at all oh a very helpful pleasant lady

Very nice place, liked the outdoor area. Good menu, enjoyed my meal very much.
