      Very plain fare, akin to every 80's coffee shop in small town New Zealand. Staff are very friendly and its never crowded or noisey.

      Opening night last night took the family for dinner. Was great there was no way I could take advantage of the refillable chips the burger was enough on its own. Great tasting food. We will be back

      I love this place. In a town full of pretentious cafes with overpriced, overcomplicated food, the Manhattan is just perfect. Good Sandwiches, chips, cakes, and plenty of seating. The owners are friendly and obliging, I'm sad to hear they have sold. I hope the new owners don't change too much.
